Chairperson of the Coalition

A lawyer and a former Member in the Jordanian House of Representatives representing Jerash governorate for three consecutive terms. She is the first Jordanian woman to chair a bloc for two times. She is a founder of the Jordanian Women Caucus in 2013, and she is a member of the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System. She occupied the position of the Vice Chair of IPU Standing Committee for Sustainable Development. She is a founder in the Forum of Arab Parliamentarians for Population and Development. Moreover, she was selected as one of the 50 international women leaders by Women in Public Life Initiative in the USA. She occupies the position of Women Political Leaders’ Ambassador to Jordan, and occupies now the position of WPL Special Envoy to Arabia. She is a member in the Climate Parliament, a member in IRENA Legislators Forum, and an international observer on the legislative elections within the international missions of the National Democratic Institute. She is an International trainer on Elections’ Campaigns. Moreover, She is a member in UNITE Global Parliamentarians Network to End Infectious Diseases. She as well a former member in the board of trustees in the National Center for Human Rights.
