On December 11, 2021 the Local Palestinian Elections will take place
On October 25, 2021 The Central Elections Commission had launched a code of conduct against violating the rights of Palestinian women in the upcoming local elections; In anticipation of the possibility of violating thier rights in the upcoming local council elections.
The Code includes the electoral rights of Palestinian women that may be violated in the local elections, the forms of abuse of women’s rights, the spaces in which abuse may occur, the penalties for violations of their rights, and the procedures and mechanisms of the Central Elections Committee to track these violations.
The political forces and parties also signed a charter of honor in which they pledged their commitment to providing a fair and transparent electoral environment during the various stages of the local elections in 2021.
