The Women and Child Committee held a session on 20\/1\/2022, headed by the committee\u2019s chairperson, MP. Enaya Ezz El-Din, and in the presence of Representatives: Rola Al-Tabash, Adnan Traboulsi, Qassem Hashem and Ali Al-Miqdad.<\/p>\n

  In order to complete the study of the proposed law aiming to amend some articles of the Lebanese Social Security Law related to women and their children.<\/p>\n

  Following the meeting, Representative Enaya Ezz El-Din presented the articles proposed to be amended, which are: \u201cArticle 14 to enable the insured woman to guarantee her uninsured husband regardless of age; Article 16 to allow the pregnant woman to benefit from the security benefits after the lapse of a period of no less than three months from her affiliation with SS; Article 26 In terms of women benefiting from the maternity compensation in accordance with the full salary and not only two thirds of the daily salary; and Article 46, which allows women to receive family compensations.<\/p>\n
