The legislative elections of 2021 enabled 96 women to hold seats at the House of Representatives, of which 90 were elected at the regional constituencies while six (6) others were elected at the local ones.<\/p>\n

The seats are categorized according to:<\/p>\n

– Regional constituencies, composed of 90 seats.<\/p>\n

– Local constituencies, composed of 305 seats.<\/p>\n
