The organization \u201cStop Violence and Exploitation\u201d (Kafa) is a Lebanese civic, non-governmental, non-profit, and a feminist organization that aspires to a society free from the patriarchal social, economic and legal discrimination towards women. Since its inception in 2005, Kafa has sought to eliminate all forms of violence and exploitation based on gender and to achieve de facto equality between the sexes, through the adoption of several methods, including: Advocating for amending and creating laws, changing policies, influencing public opinion, changing prevailing patriarchal practices, mentalities and perceptions, preparing research and training, and empowering women and children victims of violence and providing psychological, social and legal support to them. https:\/\/www.kafa.org.lb\/ar<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
